Power Vinyasa yoga found Sarah unexpectedly. She arrived too late to attend her ‘spin class’ but was right on time for yoga. In this one class she found muscles she never new she had and she realized she was both physically and mentally stronger than she thought. Sarah’s confidence grew and Power Vinyasa Yoga was the catalyst.
“Before yoga I viewed myself as shy and introverted. I would try to please everyone, but I never focused on what made me happy. Yoga helped me work through some of these issues.” "My yoga practice has allowed me to build confidence and it is that confidence and self-assurance that has allowed me to step in front of a class room and give to my students. Yoga changes lives and there is nothing more satisfying than sharing that gift with others."
Sarah is a certified by Power Yoga Works through Yoga Alliance.
Kati Brennan teaches yoga in loving service to her teacher, Sri Dharma Mittra, with whom she completed her advanced teacher training (500-hour). Also a Kripalu-certified yoga teacher, Kati is additionally certified (and loves!) to teach pre-natal yoga in the ISHTA tradition from Be Yoga, and Yin yoga from Wake-Up Yoga. She serves as Adjunct Professor of Yoga at Temple University.
Kati fuses Kripalu poses and Dharma's vibrant methodology together into light-hearted vinyasas for a playful (a smile is the best mudra!), inward-bound class that emphasizes meditation-in-motion with good alignment. She loves teaching mantra, pranayama, and meditation in her classes in an exploratory, non-dogmatic fashion. Kati also studies and draws from a variety of Hatha traditions, including Iyengar, Bikram, Tibetan, Astanga, and Kundalini yoga. She is also a Pilates instructor. Kati adores bodies, being barefoot, and learning. Om Namah Shivaya!
Pat’s yoga story started with yoga classes at a local YMCA while her children were toddlers. As the children started school, yoga went by the wayside as she focused on a career in advertising and marketing. In 2004, when her health club began offering yoga classes, she took up a yoga practice once again. As retirement came on the horizon, Pat drew up a list of what she loved – as a focus for a retirement plan. Yoga and yoga philosophy were right up at the top. Her search for a Yoga Teacher Training program led her to Stillpoint where she studied under Yoganand Michael Carroll. Pat is certified as a Pranakriya yoga teacher, and is a Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance. Along with leading adult yoga classes, Pat enjoys sharing her love of yoga with children and teens. As a certified Aquatic Exercise Fitness Instructor, Pat teaches water exercise at nursing homes and health clubs.

She has studied Iyengar yoga with George Purvis, Gabriel Halpern, and John Schumacher. For a while, Natalie was a devoted practitioner of Ashtanga yoga, and studied with Tias and Surya Little in Santa Fe and David Galls in Washington, DC. Natalie is thrilled to be teaching at Stillpoint Yoga, where students are encouraged to find their own experiences and where fun and joy abound. When not teaching, Natalie sings opera, eats her chef-husband’s cooking, and practices sitting with herself.
When Heather discovered yoga, she fell in love with its ability to
strengthen and loosen her body while quieting and calming her mind.
Heather's initial training in yoga was through Ashtanga; she studied
with Manju Jois, Dee Silvers, Tim Miller, David Swenson, Chuck Miller
and Maty Ezraty. However, her teaching is most influenced by the
dynamic vinyasa-flow teaching style of her teacher and inspiration
Shiva Rea, with whom she has completed a 200 hour Prana Vinyasa Flow
teacher training.
Prana Flow classes offer a full and varied spectrum of experience from
rejuvenation to empowerment with a constancy in the awareness of the unity between the
wave motion of breath and bodily movement. Heather's classes are
creative and invigorating and she encourages her students to challenge
themselves to their own degree in order to build strength, fluidity
and serenity in their own bodies and minds.
Off the mat, Heather has her Ph.D. in Pharmacology and Toxicology and
works as a management consultant.

kids, pre/post natal, mom and baby, sport specific and restorative yoga.
Michelle has studied with many teachers throughout her life. More recently including Seane
Corn, Shiva Rea, Sue Hollingshead, Ana Forrest and Cyndi Lee.
