    Introduction to Mindfulness Meditation
    When: September 8th, 6:30 pm to 7:30 pm
    Cost:$10

    Mindfulness-based Parenting Workshop
    Become Fully Present as a Parent !!! These unique workshops, led by Dr. Tom Casey (pediatrician), Catherine Polan Orzech, MFT, (family therapist) and Dan Orzech (meditation teacher), are designed to give parents real world tools to help deal with the stress of family life, to respond mindfully --rather than react--to challenging or impulsive behavior.
    When: October 18th and 25th 7:35 pm to 9:35 pm
    Cost:Cost is $45 for a single parent
    Cost:$65 for both parents/both days.

    Eight-week MBSR Courses
    When: Mondays, Sept. 25 - Nov. 13, 7:35 - 9:35 pm, plus Sat. Nov. 4, 1:00 - 6:00 pm
    Cost:$375

    Stress: In this day and age, it's easy to feel overwhelmed by the challenges facing us in our daily lives. we maybe having trouble dealing with a physical malady, or with difficult relationships. We might be feeling that we're living mechanically from day to day. or that the pace of our lives is out of control.

    Many others in this situation have been helped by mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction, or MBSR. MBSR has helped thousands of people around the worlds gain:

    What is MBSR
    Developed by Jon Kabat-Zinn more than two decades ago at the University of Massachusetts Medical School, MBSR is a structured eight-week course of meditation and awareness exercises that has helped thousands of people achieve greater balance, control and participation in their lives.

    People come to MBSR for a wide range of reasons, including:
  • Stress- job, family or financial
  • Chronic pain and illness
  • Fibromyalgia
  • Anxiety and panic
  • GI Stress
  • Sleep disturbances
  • Fatigue
  • High blood pressure
  • Headaches

    MBSR has also been used successfully by groups as diverse as corporate CEO's, judges, prison inmates, educators, priests,healthcare professionals, and Olympic and professional athletes - including world champion Chicago bulls and Los Angeles Lakers basketball teams.

    What We Offer
    Everyday Mindfulness offers full eight-week MBSR courses at Stillpoint Yoga Studios, as well as Introduction to Mindfulness classes, Parenting Workshops and Mindfulness and your Yoga Mat. Classes may include sitting mediation,mindfulness movement exercises, body awareness meditation, and walking mediation, as well as practical ways to bring mindfulness into your everyday life.
